Preparing Teacher Training Students for Evidence-Based Practice Promoting Students’ Research Competencies in Research-Learning Projects

Research-learning projects (RLP) enable teacher training students to acquire competencies for evidence-based practice (EBP) in the context of their university studies. The aim this longitudinal study is develop, implement, and evaluate a RLP format promote EBP students. These can be broken down into categories using research, which involves reflection on use evidence solve problems teaching practice, establishing investigating research question independently by applying methods. In we increase based self-assessment (indirect measurement) focusing competence test (direct research. We also add retrospective pre-assessment version (quasi-indirect consider response shift over- or underestimation self-assessments. Our findings show that prepared through RLP. Further development potential being discussed.
